ABOUT DANA WILSON EASLEY
In high school, my subconscious must have taken the faculty’s advice to develop an organized career plan much too literally. As a result, my career path has ended up being alphabetical:
Anthropologist
Archaeologist
Attorney
and finally (realizing I’ll never make it all the way to Z)
Author
Now I write young adult and middle grade novels. Much more fun than writing legal briefs or looking for a new job that starts with the letter B.
Until a recent move from Chicago to Minnesota, I was active in the Illinois chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. I served as a network representative and as the managing editor of and a regular columnist for the chapter newsletter, The Prairie Wind.
Now I live in the suburbs of Minneapolis with my family, who know that the best thing to do when I’m writing on deadline is to stock up on Pepsi and brownies and ignore the dust bunnies.
